Satomi Takasugi is a former gravure idol, race queen and current solo singer on avex sub-label Rhythm Zone. She is a former member of the avex girl group wi☆th, with fellow gravure idols Wakatsuki Chinatsu, Iori and Hoshino Kana. She made her Rhythm Zone debut in December 2006, performing at the anual Rhythm Nation concert with "Yukiboshi / Soshite Boku wa Tohou ni Kureru", which was meant to be her debut single, originally planned for released in February 2007, though it was not until June that she debuted with her single "Tabibito". Her debut is set to be released on the 27th of February, 2008.
